1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Robotus website located at robotus.org (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Site or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, donors, and others who access or use the Site (collectively, "you").

2. Eligibility and Identity Verification

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the basic features of the Site.
• Some restricted platform tools explicitly require you to be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be a resident of the United States.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and identity checkpoint execution.

Identity and Age Verification: To enforce safety compliance and prevent system exploitation, Robotus utilizes Stripe Identity to process government-issued documents and biometric signatures. Access to age-restricted zones is dependent on successful verification checks. If our system calculates that an identity fails verification parameters or does not meet the 18-year-old threshold, access to those features will be denied.

Duplicate Identity Prevention: Each individual physical identity may only be linked to a single Robotus user account. We employ secure, irreversible cryptographic token hashing to detect and flag duplicate credentials. If our system detects an identity collision (an attempt to verify an identification document already associated with another profile), the system will automatically place the verification data under "duplicate" status. Robotus reserves the right to lock, suspend, or terminate all associated accounts pending manual administrative review.

3. Nature of Services and Donations

• Robotus operates exclusively as a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
• All donations are voluntary.
• No goods, services, or benefits are provided in exchange for donations.
• Donations support Robotus's charitable mission and programs.

Donation Tax Disclaimer

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Robotus does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Donors should consult their own advisors regarding deductibility.

Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

4. User Accounts & Communications

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use.
• You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

You acknowledge that Robotus may send account-related communications, including one-time verification codes (2FA), identity status processing reports, security alerts, fraud alerts, and service notifications, via email or SMS.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Use the Site for commercial, political, or for-profit purposes.
• Submit false, forged, altered, misleading, or fraudulent information or identification documentation.
• Attempt to bypass identity validation protocols, create shell identities, or exploit multi-account configurations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or isolated credential repositories.
• Upload or transmit harmful, unlawful, abusive, or malicious content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is owned by or licensed to Robotus and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

7. DMCA Copyright Policy

Robotus complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Copyright infringement claims should be submitted through our Help Page for further instructions.

8. Disclaimers and Account Termination

• The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability.
• Use of the Site is at your own risk.

Robotus reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, disable, or terminate your account access if you fail to pass compliance sweeps, trigger persistent identity integrity collisions, or display behavior indicating automated or fraudulent system access.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Robotus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, service limitations, or identity verification dynamic failures.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Robotus and its governors (directors), officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims arising from your use of the Site, submission of identification materials, or violation of these Terms.

11. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class or representative action, except where prohibited by law.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

13. Modifications
