Help Center

Welcome to the Robotus Help Center. Here you can find guidance on account security, verification codes, identity compliance checks, donations, and other support topics.

1. Verification Codes (OTP)

Robotus sends one-time passcodes (OTPs) via SMS or email to verify your identity when logging in or performing sensitive actions. Codes expire in 10 minutes.

If you did not request a code, secure your account immediately.

2. Identity Verification & Age Thresholds (Stripe Identity)

Access to some of our advanced features requires an active identity verification check. This step confirms that every participant is an authentic individual, helping us mitigate malicious bot farms, automated sybil abuse, or underage account entry.

  • Accepted Documents: A valid, non-expired government-issued passport, driver's license, or state identification card.
  • Processing States: Upon uploading images via our secure gateway, your status shifts to PROCESSING while biometric checks validate the document. This pipeline resolves atomically within 2-5 minutes.
  • Age Compliance: Some zones require users to be at least 18 years old. Our automated pipeline calculates this threshold directly from Stripe's secure data vault on the very first execution and assigns your access credentials instantly.
  • Account Limits: To ensure platform safety, an individual identity profile can only be linked to a single unique account record.

3. Identity Collisions & Duplicate Statuses

If you attempt to run an identity check with a document that has already been verified by another user on our system, our backend will flag the attempt as a duplicate entry.

This collision safeguard immediately freezes further identity clearances for that profile. If you have lost access to an older verified account or believe your credentials are victim to an identity collision error, please contact support@robotus.org for administrative assistance.

4. Account Alerts & Security

You may receive alerts for password modifications, suspicious profile updates, or new login locations. These notifications are strictly transactional.

If you receive unexpected security alerts, log in immediately to change your password and audit your account parameters.

5. Managing Your Phone & Email

  • Keep your phone number and primary email updated in your profile dashboard.
  • Both communication links may need to be successfully verified for registration and sensitive administrative actions.
  • You can update your active contact configurations at any time from your account settings panel.

6. SMS & Mobile Privacy

Automated messages include active security OTPs, verification state changes, and critical fraud warnings. Standard message & data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS routing, or HELP for system assistance. Robotus does not share mobile originator opt-in consent parameters with third parties for marketing or promotional distribution.

7. Data Protection & Cryptographic Privacy Standards

We treat identity tracking with strict privacy boundaries. Your raw personal identifiers, facial images, and document scans are never viewed or stored inside plain-text application tables. While passwords are securely locked down using high-performance Argon2id algorithms, your identity validation data is converted into an anonymous, irreversible cryptographic signature (hash fingerprint) using environment-secured Keyed HMAC-SHA256 protocols to strictly enforce unique identity ownership.

8. Security Tips

  • Do not share verification codes with anyone, including individuals claiming to represent Robotus.
  • Utilize long, unique password structures generated by a password manager.
  • Regularly monitor your active sessions for unusual activity and report discrepancies immediately.

9. Donations & Account Activity

All donations are voluntary and support our 501(c)(3) nonprofit mission. Check your localized transaction history block regularly to verify donation receipts and tracking states.
